Nasara Resort is an great base for a surf trip in the Mentawais. The team were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, making the whole stay easy and enjoyable.

The rooms are comfortable and well designed — perfect for recovering after long days in the water. The location is a real highlight, with quick access to all the good waves in the area.

The resort itself is beautifully set up and a great place to unwind at the end of the day. A high-quality resort with a relaxed vibe — highly recommended.

I was truly amazed by this place when my husband took me there for an overnight stay a few days ago. The resort is very relaxing and beautifully aesthetic. The food was delicious, and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. It’s a perfect place to unwind and enjoy quality time. We would definitely love to come back again soon.

Tropical paradise!

The host, Stephan, and the staffs were accommodating and friendly!
I was lucky to get upgraded to a gorgeous room with the Seaview. The place felt boutique and I love how the guest will be seated together during mealtimes which made the experience more warm and personal. (There are also option to dine separately in case you prefer your own space)

The activities were also done as per request. The staff was laidback but attentive. Kayaks, snorkels and paddle board is available for free.

I felt like I’m on a private island and will definitely visit again in again in the future.

The resort is perfectly situated right by a stunning beach, making it an ideal place for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The pool area is fantastic — spacious, clean, and a great spot to unwind. The food was delicious, with a great variety and high quality.

What truly sets this resort apart, though, are the people working there. From the manager to every member of the team, everyone was exceptionally kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. It’s clear that this resort’s true strength lies in its amazing staff. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay unforgettable!

I had the pleasure of staying at ‎Nasara resort for the entire month of July 2023.

The resort is absolutely incredible and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The owner (Steve) was always available for questions and responded immediately to any inquiries and was also super helpful with the logistics of airport transfer, local hotel recommendations in Padang, room upgrades, etc.

The location of Nasara is perfect and just a short five minute boat ride from the fast ferry terminal at Tuapajet where a member of the team greeted us promptly upon arrival. The rooms are large, clean, modern and well appointed with stunning views right at the waters edge. Air conditioning and WiFi were a very welcome luxury.

There is world class snorkeling right out front of the resort with every kind of tropical fish imaginable which was a highlight of the trip.
For surfers, there are several quality waves within a 20 minute boat ride , depending on the speed of the boat, (some boats are slower than others… haha)
It is a good idea to learn some basic Indonesian if you want to communicate with the boat drivers.

Cia, the manager and also our cook was always available and very accommodating for dietary requests.

The staff was fantastic and friendly and I was never left wanting for anything.

Nasara is also one of the few resorts in the area that has a pool and the pool and surrounding pool deck is amazing. The grounds are also clean and well landscaped.

During my stay, there was a fair amount of construction underway every day and so exciting to see that more improvements and new additions are coming in the future to make an already first class resort even better!

Can’t wait to come back again soon!!

Amazing ! everything is perfect . From the initial contact with owner who showed a lot of care and great customer service answering promptly and nicely to every question and request , throughout the preparations and arrrangements for pick up at PDG airport , taking to the Ferry and to resort. At the resort we were received by the amazing staf with the wamest welcome. Cia the manager is amazing , caring smiling and so are the ladies in the kitchen preparing amazing food and atyr service anytime. The boat guys PEpeng and Captain are soooooo nice tooo. they are always looking to make you happy take you anytime and real genuine care from the eart. Rooms have amazing view , everything is new and facilities are amazing .Beautiful scenery , and again amazing people and service. THis exceeded expectations by far and i strongly reccomend.

On behalf of Sergey I’d like to express what a wonderful experience my stay was. The location of the resort is the closest to the waterline out of all the resorts around. Staying in your room makes you feels like you’re on the ships deck. Great homelike atmosphere!

I stayed with the Nasara team back in May and it was a 11/10 experience! If you're looking for a place to stay in the Mentawais, this is it. Cia is amazingly helpful and her food is amazing. Steven the owner is the best and also so accomodating. Pepeng was my boat tour guide and he took me to some amazing spots and was so friendly. The people here are amazing and will help arrange anything you need (surf tours or other excursions/ activities), plus the property is stunningly beautiful and the rooms are so comfortable. I will be back! Thank you guys!

We had a really great time here. Definitely one of the best holidays I've ever had. The staffs are very friendly & helpful, great room with a view to a very beautiful beach. And also great food prepared by the chef!
